Birds of May: Teanaway and Central Cascades Forests

What: Join us for a virtual lesson about how to identify birds and what birds you can find in the Teanaway Community Forest. This webinar is brought to you by community member, Deb Essman! Deb is a life long bird enthusiast, having worked with raptor rehabilitation, and is an active life time member of Kittitas Field and Stream club.

Kittitas Field and Stream is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization promoting effective conservation and good sportsmanship, supporting education to prevent pollution, and working to improve and increase outdoor recreation opportunities, especially hunting and fishing.

In this presentation, we will learn about the basics of birding - such as where to find birds, and how to identify species found within the Teanaway Community Forest and The Nature Conservancy’s Central Cascade Forest on Cle Elum Ridge.

The presentation will be 30 minutes with 15 minutes for questions at the end of the webinar.
