What: In this Date with Nature, we will be joining local plant enthusiast Laura Potash as she leads us through a plant identification adventure!


Laura Potash, Roslyn resident, recently retired as Coordinator for Tapash Sustainable Forest Collaborative to devote more time for technical alpine climbing and babysitting her new grandson. She holds an M.S. in Plant Ecology from U of W, formerly served 23 years as head Botanist for the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, and was State President of the Washington Native Plant Society. A gifted speaker, she shares a wealth of knowledge with such humor and infectious enthusiasm it will turn you into a plant nerd!”
