River Restoration at Terminal 105

  • 4032 West Marginal Way Southwest Seattle, WA, 98106 United States (map)

Looking for a volunteer photographer to join TNC, Whale Scout & EarthCorps to document restoration work being done at Terminal 105. Images needed of hard working volunteers, partners and visual content that shows pavement transforming into river banks once again.

The industrialized and urban Duwamish River is an important migratory corridor for young and adult salmon. These fish are important to both the communities who live near the river and also endangered killer whales. Once a parking lot, help restore natural vegetation to bring back the important ecosystem functions to what’s still called, “Terminal 105.”
