Stormwater Melting Snow Slush

With record amounts of snow this week in Western Washington we are looking for images of melting snow holding toxins running into storm drains around the city and in parks. If you are feeling adventuress cruise your neighborhood or a local park to capture the following:

  • Standing water in parks, cement lots and yards

  • Melting snow/slush near all types of drains

  • Very dirty snow/slush in piles or on top cars, discoloration coming from parked cars.

  • ( Get creative with these, low and high perspectives, wide shots, detail shots)

We are looking for final images to be submitted by Friday 2/15 at 12pm. Now is the perfect time with the warmer temperatures and rain creating slush and sludge all over the Puget Sound region to get these images. Be safe out there! If you would like to sign up for this assignment please fill out the form below and let us know what part of the region you are planning to photograph.
