If you:

  • Enjoy meeting new people and having fun
  • Are excited about solving environmental challenges
  • Have a passion for sharing knowledge
  • Want to be more connected with your community…

….then volunteering as a Conservation Ambassador is the opportunity for you!

Conservation Ambassadors raise awareness of solutions for environmental issues by promoting The Nature Conservancy's mission at events all around Western and Central Washington using engaging visuals, activities, games and talking points.

Volunteers interested in becoming Conservation Ambassadors are invited to attend the 2018 Season kickoff and training session on March 31st!

At this training new and returning volunteers will learn from Nature Conservancy staff members about our cutting edge work, how to talk to people about environmental issues, become familiar with the resources available to use for outreach, and participate in a group discussion and brainstorm about what we can do to raise public awareness of environmental issues.

Volunteers who attend the training will receive talking points manuals for their reference and a tee shirt to wear at events. Conservation Ambassador volunteers must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Lunch and refreshments will be served at the training.

Please fill out the form below to RSVP and for more information about how to apply to be a volunteer.
