Livingston Bay Scotch Broom Pull - FULL

We are amazed by the response to this opportunity! Thank you for all the volunteers who have signed up.

Join us at the beautiful Livingston Bay site with views of Puget Sound and Mount Baker, where a pocket estuary has been restored to support runs of juvenile salmon migrating out of the Stilliguamish River. This project was completed in 2012 in order to bring essential natural processes back to the eastern shore of Camano Island as part of the Conservation Action Plan for the Port Susan Bay Marine Stewardship Area.  Right now the biggest challenge this area faces is the threat of invasive Scotch Broom which is highly aggressive and degrades habitat value.

Come help us tackle this noxious weed while enjoying the fresh marine air - this Nature Conservancy project is not open to the public, this is a rare opportunity to see the site in person!
