This plan includes:

•Considerations for numerous recreation types during all seasons — including, but not limited to: hiking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, camping, birding and snowmobiling

•Trail connections to local communities (such as Cle Elum, Roslyn and Ronald) as well as connections for current trails on adjoining National Forest lands.

•New plans in West Fork Teanaway for non-motorized winter recreation, including cross-country ski and snowshoe trails

•Improved trailhead parking, improvements for popular campsites, new informational kiosks and updated restroom facilities to keep up with visitor demand

• Scenic driving routes on forest roads to improve access for all ages and abilities.

This is small sample of what the recreation plan supports. You can view the complete document here.
