A tribe's identity is under threat due to climate effects

Washington’s Stillaguamish Tribe reveres and celebrates its inextricable connection to the natural environment. But climate change and its impacts threaten the tribe’s livelihood, culture, traditions and very way of life. We talked to Tribal Chairman Shawn Yanity about the challenges of a changing climate, as well as the ways in which the Stillaguamish Tribe is adapting to an unknown future.
