2019 Conservation Ambassadors
Greater Seattle area -or- Cle Elum/Roslyn area -or- Wenatchee, WA
Season: May – October, weekends
If you enjoy meeting new people and spending time outdoors, we need you! Help us spread the word about the work we are doing in Washington, and reach out to potential members and volunteers to help them figure out how they too can get involved in conservation. We are looking to build our outreach teams around greater Seattle and greater Central Washington with people who are avid conservation conversationalists and who can represent The Nature Conservancy in a professional manner at community events across the state.
Commitment: Training on Sunday March 31st then tabling at ~2-3 community events for the season.
The season kicks off with Messaging Training on for Sunday March 31st, 2019 from 11am-3pm (lunch will be provided). Followed by a happy hour! All graduates of the training will receive a TNC gear to wear to the events.
Volunteers for this role must be able to pass a criminal background check and participate in an online youth safety training.
