Fisher Slough Tree Planting - Day 2

Come plant trees with us! We need volunteers to help us get 200 pacific willow stakes, 100 red twig dogwoods, and 150 black cottonwoods planted at Fisher Slough. Last week volunteers started the planting effort but we still have trees left we need to get in the ground. Help us finish the job!

Fisher Slough is a restoration site that provides valuable habitat to salmon on their migration out to the Puget Sound. Trees planted here will provide shade and nutrients to the river that will benefit the salmon, as well as reduce space for competing invasive Reed Canary Grass.

Please RSVP using the form below by Friday, March 9th at noon. Full details on where to meet will be sent only to those who RSVP.
