Floodplains by Design Workshop

  • 7700 Sand Point Way Northeast Seattle, WA, 98115 United States (map)

A Floodplain: an area of low-lying ground adjacent to a river, formed mainly of river sediments and subject to flooding.

Event photographer needed for a semi annual event for floodplains in Washington. Photos needed of speakers and participants networking. This workshop will focus on building and sharing our collective stories. It will feature Ron Geatz, a national storytelling adviser, and more than 20 local practitioners from eight Washington floodplains who participated in storytelling training and coaching. This is an indoor event, so low lighting equipment and a on camera flash are recommended.  If you would like to sign up please fill out the form below! ( Photo by Katherine De Bruyn)
