Rain & Stormwater


With rain in the forecast It’s the perfect time of year to capture rain and flooding in the northwest. We are looking for a variety of images to show stormwater, rain and standing water in Washington. Below is a list of ideas, if you would like to sign up please fill out the form below along with the idea/theme you would like to pursue!

Stormwater: surface water in abnormal quantity resulting from heavy falls of rain or snow.

  • Overflowing street/sidewalk drains in the city and/or neighborhoods

  • Standing water/ Flooding in parks, fields, farm land, roads

  • People commuting in rain, using the bus, driving, on the ferry etc.

  • Rain accessories being used, boots, umbrellas, rain gear, hats etc.

  • Detail shots of rain on plants, leaves, trees, moss etc. anything that shows it has rained in a natural environment
