"All good days in the woods end with dirty hands, sore knees, and more questions than answers."

Brian Mize is the Central Cascades Field Forester, responsible for all on-the-ground work in the 46,000 acres that The Nature Conservancy manages in Central Washington.  Brian attended the College of Forestry at Oregon State University, and has worked both in private industry and in state government.  Brian contends all good days in the woods end with dirty hands, sore knees and more questions than answers.  When not at work, Brian enjoys family dance parties, history and hiking where there are no trees.
